99. How Do I Find Out If Windows XP SP2 Is Installed On My PC

Important Question! Can your PC Run Faster?

The deadline has now passed whereby you could delay the downloading of SP2 on to your PC. But if you enabled downloading say, through the night, or when your pc was unattended, or maybe someone else downloaded the Service pack for you, how do you tell whether SP2 has actually been installed upon your PC?

There is a quick an easy way, as follows:

1/ Click the Start button.

2/ From the Start menu Right Click on My Computer.

3/ From the Drop Down menu select Properties.

4/ In the Properties Window on the General tab you should see, under the System option, one of the following:

Microsoft Windows XP Home version 2002 Service Pack 2, or

Microsoft Windows XP Professional version 2002 Service Pack 2
