131. How Do I Add The Address Bar To Windows XP SP3

Important Question! Can your PC Run Faster?

Having installed Windows XP Service Pack 3 you will probably have noticed that the Address Bar at the next to the task bar has gone missing. The Address Bar was actually removed because of the wrangle between Microsoft and the US Government. However, if you really need it back you can do so by using a third party application called MuvEnum Address Bar.

1/ Click on the MuvEnum Address Bar link and download the free software.

2/ Once you have downloaded the software, Install it on your PC. (You can make a donation for this software and you will be given the opportunity on the Finish window. If you don't wish to donate then remove the tick mark from the 'Donate using E-junkie option.'

3/ Once installed, Right Click on the Taskbar and, from the drop down menu, select Toolbars. Now check to see that there is an entry for MuvEnum Address Bar. If the address bar is listed then Click on it to enable the address bar. Within a few seconds the address bar will appear on your task bar.
